BESTWAY Team Attends ByteDance × Elitesland AI Organization Workshop

2026-09-01

In June 2026, BESTWAY Fixture Group sent key team members to Shanghai for an AI Organization Workshop jointly developed by ByteDance and Elitesland, focusing on organizational capability building in the AI era.

Why We Sent Our Team

When people hear “AI training,” they often think first of learning a few tools and trying some prompts. Before sending team members to this program, BESTWAY focused on a different question: How should a company adapt when AI evolves from a productivity tool for individual roles into an operating system for the entire organization?

The retail fixture industry is at a pivotal point in its transition from traditional manufacturing to manufacturing enhanced by intelligence.BESTWAY’s technology-enabled retail strategy—including AI store inspections, digital sales assistants and intelligent inventory management—ultimately depends on people to implement it.Tools can be purchased and systems can be built, but the team’s depth of understanding determines whether these investments become real productivity or unused technology

ByteDance is one of China’s leading examples of integrating AI deeply into organizational operations, while Elitesland has longstanding expertise in enterprise digitalization and organizational transformation.Their joint workshop focused not on abstract concepts but on practical methods for how organizations operate in the AI era.

What We Learned: From Tools to Organization

Centered on how AI reshapes organizations and business processes, the workshop covered three areas of particular relevance to BESTWAY:

First, methods for applying AI tools in real business scenarios. Rather than discussing AI in general terms, the program showed how to embed it in role-specific workflows—from iterative design optimization and project-document knowledge management to extracting key information from client communications—with reusable methods for every stage.

Second, digital practices for cross-functional collaboration. Retail fixture projects naturally span design, engineering, production, logistics and installation, making information flow a direct factor in delivery speed.The workshop’s case studies on digitizing collaborative processes were closely aligned with BESTWAY’s project-management system.

Third, an organizational roadmap for adopting AI capabilities. The program presented a practical approach covering pilot selection, employee adoption and return-on-investment assessment—designed to make AI sustainable within an organization rather than a short-lived experiment.

After the Workshop: More Than a Certificate

For BESTWAY, the value of the program extends well beyond the workshop itself.Since returning, participants have begun advancing three initiatives:

  • Use-case review: review BESTWAY’s design, project management and internal operations to identify priority AI use cases and create an implementation list;
  • Internal knowledge sharing: convert the workshop methodology into internal training and share it across the organization;
  • Alignment with business strategy: align capability building with the Group’s technology-enabled retail-environment strategy so the organization develops at the pace of the business.

Conclusion

People have always been BESTWAY’s most important asset.Since 1999, BESTWAY’s ability to serve brands in China and worldwide has never depended on a single piece of equipment, but on a team that continues to learn and evolve.

The AI wave will not wait.BESTWAY’s approach is to let the team gain first-hand experience.
